Hello and welcome to my blog, The Emperor's Wrath. In this post I would like to set out to you guys a little about myself and what you can expect from this blog.
ABOUT ME
I was given my first copy of Warhammer 40,000 on my 10th birthday way back in 1988. I was fortunate in that 3rd edition had been released only a couple of days beforehand and I was hooked from that moment onwards. I eventually built up a rag tag Black Templars Army (in the days before they had a codex!) and played a couple of games with them down at my local GW store in Harrow London, though I also collected Dark Eldar and Eldar at this time. I moved on to Warhammer Fantasy and the Lord of the Rings as well but eventually however I got bored of the hobby and had an extended break. Then about two years ago I got back into it again. I decided to ressurect an old D.I.Y. space Marine project I had started but had never finished and have been slowly working on them since.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM THIS BLOG?
I have been slowly working away on my Space Marines the 'Dark Wardens' for a while now and many are near completion. Initially this blog will focus on them and I will hopefully be posting pictures of them as I finish up each unit (check out the Marine in the picture). Another passion I have is painting and creating terrain and will be sharing scenery projects with you along the way. Also I have some random models I'd like to post here and eventually after I have finished my Dark Wardens I hope to create an all Terminator Chaos Space Marine army.
HOW TO CONTACT ME
I appreciate any and all comments you have and would love to hear what you think of what I'm doing so please feel free to drop me a line in any of my posts. I haven't got a dedicated email for this blog yet but I hope to set one and will post it here as soon as I have it done.
